Former British Racing Champ Killed In Crash
A former British racing champion has been killed in a crash on Staindrop Road.
58 year old Andy McGladdery suffered fatal injuries after his Kawasaki bike collided with a Ford Galaxy.
The incident happened on Sunday.
Mr McGladdery had retired from professional racing two decades ago, but he still had a passion for it.
According to his wife, he was a loving man.
The car driver and the three passengers did not suffer injuries.
