Man Admits To Causing Death Of Jade Clark Through Dangerous Driving

A 58 year old driver who had earlier been charged for causing the death of a young girl has pleaded guilty.

16 year old Jade Clark was killed in a crash on 24 February on the A31 in Dorset.  She was on a Moped which was hit by a vehicle.

Brian Hampton, 58, admitted to causing the death by dangerous driving.  He has also been charged with two counts of driving without insurance and two counts of driving whilst disqualified by the Bournemouth Crown Court.

However, he denied charges of failing to stop at the scene, failing to report the accident and perverting the course of justice.
